Happy Ending

My sister found a cardboard box behind the wall of her house yesterday morning. She was disappointed that there were three little puppies in the box were shivering because the temperature dropped. For them there are only seven days to see the sunrise if we call the shelter for the stray dog which held by the municipal government. We discussed this a lot and tried to find a better way for them. She asked an officer whether he could raise one at least. We kept waiting....... Finally we got the good news which he wanted all. He settled these puppies in the cantonment. As we knew they had had dinner at five pm like enlisted men. It's really a happy ending for this case. Thank the officer with all my heart.

a piece of paper

Last Green Thursday i went out with my friends. In bus station an old woman was rummaging the paperboard or any metal in the trash can. Even she wore a discolored vest and a slipper in the cold windy night but was clean and neat. Several plastic bags were classified in her shabby trolley. Looking her way of putting things in order to know she was a tidy person even i only could see her behind.
Suddenly a woman about fifty threw a small wrapping paper for candy in her unseal plastic bag. The old woman didn't say a word or move her head to see that impolite woman just kept doing her own thing. Next i saw her was looking for that paper in the plastic bag but failed. I don't know why that woman couldn't tell those stuff are not rubbish but money for buying food or keeping alive. You know the trash can just behind that woman two steps away.

cherish your animal company

I read a piece of news on the newspaper. It really made me angry and felt uncomfortable. There are more and more dogs were abandoned or exterminated legally. Only ten percent homeless dogs will be adapted by the kind persons. Some of them were bought by their owner with a huge money at that time but now they are on the street or in the animals shelter because of sick or not popular. I know the economic reasons will be a main factor especially now. Point is it's not a question of yes or no, it's about a life who had been your family or friend. Don't give me a expression on your face like you give me money then i will keep it. In this news there is a girl said she could eat less and try to pass the inflation with her dog.
During the time of Xiao Hei in the animal hospital, I had heard dogs were abandoned by many unbelievable excuses. I really don't understand how could you sleep well at night when you see the homeless dogs on the street were finding the food with an empty eyesight. Poor dog! I need hug my lovely dog-sister. Thanks God she is O.K. and eat and sleep normal at our home.

food brings back memories

Yesterday my dad treated our distant relatives who had come back Taiwan from American for a few days. We chose an old resterant which has sort of meanings to my parents. My dad told us when he was a poor young man and dating with my mom, he had taken my mom to this restaurant onces and also my distant grandfather (aunt's dad ) liked these dishes before he passed away. That's why we all are interesting in finding the mystical food of this restaurant which belongs to my dad's generation. We are glad that the foreigner (my aunt's husband) likes the food, too. It was a wonderful night. I took some photos. Maybe the presentation of the food was not so good but they really were tasted good.
Food always bring back memories in Taiwan. We were eating, drinking, laughing and talking a lot. Cheers!

a bag of magician

Yesterday I attended a course by government hold which invited some succeed businessmen made speeches about how they got their goals in their life. For the parking space i went there early but unfortunately an odd man sitting by my side. It really destroyed my whole day. I don't know why he prepared so many staffs ; water pot, a rice ball, cellular phone, watch and so on all put on the desk. I don't know why? Am I critical? When I get older like him or my mom. Could I go out just to take a simple wallet and keys? My mom usually take so many stuffs in her bag but always forget the most important thing when she goes out even for a while. It's a bag of magician to me when I go out with her. She always say that I just have one in my bag.

After Sep. 13th I am forty - one years old. It's a tiny horrible to me. Counting my gray hairs between the black hairs is made me panic much more. Look my dad's hair. Oh! my... ! All gray hair! This is a conflict. I hope i could have the gray hairs like dads'. It means i could live healthily to that age. But now i must cut off these gray hair because of they are quite obvious that i am old enough to have these gray hairs.

a sorrowful day

A neighbor who is my respect most elder passed away at the age of ninety- seven. He also is my father's superior. I regret his death. He had given my dad a chance to get a job when dad retired from the Navy. Before dad had driven the bus for the military use in the Navy then he driven the container car in the Kaohsiung Harbor because it's his only skill. At the earlier age of Taiwan, life is difficult and poor. However my childhood is happy and no fear about life. We are not rich but satisfied. That's all thanks him for the kindness he showed us. He was also trusted by our former President(1978-1988) Chiang Ching-kuo for his moral standards and integrity. This year the Chinese Spring Holiday we went to the rest home to visit him. I took some photos of him, his old subordinates, his son and of course my parents. He noticed that i was the only one who hadn't been taken. It will be rude if i tell him i don't like to take a picture. So i said we could shoot by ourself. It's a great honor to take a photo with you.

Today i post the photos to cherish the memory of the wise and kind elder.

Btw when i had a picture taken? How many years before? I am sorry to spoil the photo because of me.

my dog-sister

Xiao Hei still has been in the animal hospital at the day time for one week. We hope her sleep well and let her sleep at home at night.
I am speechless. My heart is broken. Any words from her vet could make me feel good or bad. Please promise me to feel better sooooooooooooooooooooooooooon.

My lovely dog-sister hadn't feel well for a few days. She doesn't have any appetite. We have taken her to see the vet who we trust most. But the vet will go abroad on next day. Although i have medicine for one week we still feel unsafe. She always move her face aside whatever the food we feed her. It was just like i took a photo of her. She is afraid of taking the photo. Maybe she doesn't like the flash. When the vet wanna take some photos. I told him it's not easy. Then he took the whole set equipments to shoot from the distance and another patient(dog) got her attention. The vet promised he will mail some photos to me. He said Xiao Hei got the chronic disease from her heredity usually live to the age six or seven. Now Xiao Hei is the age of fifteen.

What did he mean?

Miracle!! Is it what he wanna to say???

karma--challenge and respond

Last night I watched the TV news which was broadcasting a touching story in China. A woman cut her lower leg with her own hand because the rescuer and doctor couldn't save her. Taking a saw! she said when the last moment. I couldn't believed what i heard. Now she is in the hospital and described how she survived from the misery. Her husband wanted her to take their son then died before her eyes. Till the rescuers found her, she drank her urine and blood from her leg for living.
I really don't understand why there is a lady can raise a AIDS fund but so cruel to the dead person due to the convulsion of nature which is men can't resist. Here we do not to charge with bad karma to a poor person if you try to comfort him. I will not link any "karma". com. I know what i said and thought. In Chinese culture and custom she should learn more then talk in public.
About her words all are concerned in "should" or" shouldn't" not "right" or "wrong".

Last night we responded to the policy of economizing energy. I went to the restaurant by bus. It was a new experience for me. Next time i should avoid the school time. That's will be perfect.

unexpected visitors

It's the first time that I see so many bees. It's a little horrible if you move fordward to see them. My sister had found them untill they flied away only twenty minutes. According to my mother words they flied away like a shape of cyclone. Maybe they found my yard is not a good place for their beehive.

I know there is no perfect thing or person in the world. In this case maybe i have no position to claim or say something. I am not a vegan but I still feel uncomfortable in my heart. There are many words were stocked in my throat.

my assistant driver

Dad is a good driver. We don't like him to drive any more 'coz of his ages. Now he always wanna occupy the seat beside the driver. According to his saying he will feel dizzy if he stay at the back seat. Firstly I should declare my driving skill is not bad. Actually he wanna to spy on the driver. He often say "go" or "stop" while the traffic lights exchange. Sometimes he shakes his finger instead of talking when I feel noisy. He thinks we did not concentrate on driving. I admit that sometimes i was attracted on the new opened restaurant. On the other hand I will never feel boring if dad is in the car.

Be kind to the pets, please.

I really can't bear this the pets(usually the dogs or cats) were abused. Before we must watched the TV news which were shot secretly. Now they do the same things and post them on the blog or YouTube proudly. From the soldier of U.S.A in Iraq to the students of university in Taiwan all made me feel disgusted.These dogs are weak, innocent and unarmed. How could you guys sleep well at night?
People of all the world know the reason you are in Iraq. We couldn't forgive the behavior of Osama bin Laden. He murdered so many lives who hadn't have enmities with him. But to that poor dog you just like the Osama bin Laden. What's the distinction between you and him?
My sister and me guessed these students probable used the drugs. But be honesty i don't care their excuses. They wanna die, go ahead, please. Do not not not drag a dog with you! That dog will be in the Heaven after die. You and the dog won't be at the same way after all. Going down to the Hxxl??? Please take another elevator!!!!

mature with age???

I just read an article which my friend had e-mailed to me. A famous writer wrote about the changes of physical or mental on his middle-age. Before the age of forty i never had had the thought that I will be a middle-aged woman. Even though you don't wanna to admit this but your physical o'clock force you to face it. How cruel it is?
Let me think ....
Before: Taking a Vitamin C for the beauty.
Now: Taking the adult Centrum for living longer.
Before: Drinking the fruits acids beverages for your bone.
Now: Swallowing the capsule No.dol directly for your knee joint.
Ache of the neck and shoulder was not the only caused by lacking of sleep. Sometimes i scared my self that maybe it is the symptom of the heart stroke? At this time family will comfort you don't scared yourself!

No! No!It's the episode of the TV show. In fact my sister respond to me don't you known this sentence in Taiwanese the coffin is for the dead man not for the old man? Look! Even the conversation is changing into so serious.

fad away

I really didn't have a happy time in this Lunar Chinese New Year. We even given up to shoot off the firecrackers because of an old uncle lived across my home had passed away several days ago before the new year. We were still in the sad mood but another shock followed it. Our neighbor an old aunt died peacefully in the sleep. What's happen with the new year?

Most inhabitants of my town were from China in the beginning. Some of them are weak, old and still live alone. You will never know their pain which far from their home and family. These days the phenomenon of La Nina in China were broadcasted on TV news. The snowstrom prevented the million of people from home for the lunar Chinese new year. A girl shouted with tears "I wanna go home" and waved her hand at the same time. It reminds me of dad. The war had ever prevented them from home, either. A decision by a few people made is more terrible than the natural calamity. These words always can clear up my mood at this moment.

Chinese New Year--恭喜發財

It's a busy time before the Chinese new year. We always clean the house and enviroment. It 's a symbol of dumping the old and change it for new. I dislike to orginate some stuffs which you keep them for long time and never be used . But it's a pity to throw them away.

Anyway I am still grateful to have a peace corner in my mind. I am learning to see what I'm going to have and don't complain the past. So----

two models?

The last day of 2007, we didn't go to the outside concert which the govement held for celebrating the coming of 2008. We are too old to join the final count down. We decided to have a quick sightseeing of the area where I live now even it was cold and late at night. But we were not lucky. The Lotus Lake was repaired and blockaded this time. We only took some photoes before the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas for memories in the distance.
